Please follow the guidelines below to ensure your Beaded Energy creation lasts for years and years to come:
Wipe each piece with a soft, lint-free cloth after wearing. This will remove any sweat, body oils, dust and other pollutants from permanently setting in.
Always store your jewelry in the provided pouch or a lined jewelry box in a cool, dry location. This will help avoid scratching, breakage & tarnishing.
Knotted necklaces and bracelets should be stored lying down. Hanging these pieces will cause them to stretch over time requiring them to be re-knotted.
Do not store more than 1 jewelry item per pouch. Doing so can cause pieces to become scratched, intertwined and/or kinked.
Always ensure your jewelry is thoroughly dried, especially when stored.
Avoid jewelry contact with any abrasive soaps, chemicals, perfumes, hair sprays, lotions, creams and dyes.
Remove jewelry while performing household chores or any strenuous activities or sports.
Do not swim in your jewelry.
Remove jewelry before going to bed to avoid kinking or breakage.
Never use harsh or abrasive cleaners. Many stores sell liquid cleaners and polishing clothes suited for silver, gold & gemstones.
Never use liquid cleaners on or around pearls. They are very porous and will absorb the cleaner. Use a polishing cloth.
Exercise caution when polishing jewelry items with an intended oxidized look as you may inadvertently remove the intended finish.
Keep in mind that different stones have different levels of hardness. Please be especially cautious not to drop or make forcible contact with your jewelry item as breakage and/or fracturing can occur.
